• Are your customers missing you because you have been missing in action this summer?

    Let me share 5 tips to bouncing back before it’s too late… after all, we still need to care for our customers in the summer.

    1.       Make follow up calls on their most recent order.  Follow up calls can be lots of fun.  It’s just checking in on them and the awesome products they purchased.  The awesome thing about this is that it often leads to more in-depth conversation that can easily be turned to asking for a booking or inviting them to your business opportunity.  You can help them earn a quicky end-of-summer vacay or stayca or help pay for back to school expenses.
    2.      Go through your customer database weekly.  Choose 10-15 names to call, email, or facebook message to simply check in on them and if you have a special… share with them why you love it and why you think they will as well.  Share with them how they could get next month’s host or customer special free or at a discount for hosting.
    3.      Schedule an end of summer girls night out customer appreciation to make the most of the final lazy days of summer.
    4.      Send some happy mail or a fun card to all of your hosts from this month from the previous year.  Send them a fun note, a sample, and let them know that you miss them and would love to connect again.
    5.      Start a customer loyalty program and let them know they are your VIPs because they are already existing clients and you want to give them VIP treatment.  A customer loyalty program is a great way to give customers a reason to return to you, your products and your services.  Keep it simple.  Base it off dollars purchased and offer a discount or a freebie.

    A smart business knows that customers are earned.  It is not just about the product… it’s about the service and the relationships.  It’s in how we treat our customers.  Strive for excellence.  Your customers are going to be excited to hear from you and will want to come back to you over and over again because they love the way they are treated every time you are the phone with them or serving them at parties and shows.

    Even if you have not connected with them in a while… don’t be sheepish about it.  They are going to be tickled to hear from you… and learn what’s new!
