• Are You Getting the Most from Your Bookings?

    Ever wonder what IS the secret step to increasing sales and attendance at your parties?

    The SECRET is Host Coaching!

    Think about it.  If you are going to block out a night in your datebook… don’t you want to get the most from it?
    This can only happen from really great host coaching.

    Today I’m sharing my 5 time tested and true tips for great host coaching.

    Start the Host Coaching process the moment, yes the moment, they schedule.

    Many people will have their phones on hand and can forward their contacts or transfer them to a guest list while you are tallying their order.

    I also recommend that they send out a quick text for her invitees to “save the date”.  This dramatically increases the attendance.

    Creative Invites

    I recommend that you use:  text for save the date, an online email invite like the ones you can send from Redstamp, a facebook event, snail mail, and also a reminder call from you like they are used to receiving for an appointment with the doctor, dentist or hair salon.

    Scavenger Hunt

    Challenge the Host through a fun scavenger hunt so she is inviting “the right” kind of guests so that your party is filled with people that are most likely to book a show or be interested in joining your business.

    I like to give my hosts an extra prize for this.  They absolutely love it.

    Incentivize

    During your reminder calls to her guests incentivize each guest to bring a friend or two by giving them and their guest a great treat.

    Get some nice chocolates and put them in a pretty organza bag. I don’t know about you, but I would do almost anything for chocolate.

    Be A Good Partner

    To increase sales… remember, in all aspects of host coaching… you are both partners for success! She wants to be successful and is looking to you, as the expert, to guide her.

    One of the best things you can do is to challenge her to get your minimum host benefits in sales prior to you even showing up at her door for the party.  Do this through giving her a product to wear or demo to those that are unable to attend the party.

    Make sure she has more than enough mini or large catalogs to share and call to see if she needs more order forms about a week prior to her party.

    Also, be sure to give her a script as what to say when her invitees say they cannot attend.  All she has to do is say, “I’ so sorry that you won’t be able to make it and may miss out on the fun.  My favorite product is_____  I think you would love it.  Should I order you one to try?”

    Be sure she knows how many of that product to sell to hit your minimum sales requirements to get host benefits.

    Well there you have it… not just one secret but 5! I just love to over-deliver!!
