As “The Christian Direct Seller”, some of the most common questions I receive are:  “How are you so bold in your faith everywhere you go?”  “How can I minister in the marketplace?”

To be completely transparent and honest… I can’t help not to!  I am so filled with the Holy Spirit that I am overflowing with joy and passion.  I look for the blessing in everything, and I try to be intentional in serving and adding value to others.  When working with my Hosts/Potential Business Partners, I would commit the day of their party or appointment to prayer.   I told them that I would be devoting their “special day” to specific prayer for them and asked if they had any specific prayer requests.  They felt so honored that I would take the time to get to know them on such a deep level, and not just be about what I can “get” from them that many of them joined my team or became close friends.    We saw miracle after miracle!  It was thrilling!

As “ministers in the marketplace” in the direct selling profession, we can touch lives so deeply, see miracles, win souls for the kingdom of God, and as a bonus, earn a great income, trips, and so much more!  We need to mindful of how we are representing the Lord and our walk with Him, as we conduct business.  Are we seeing with His eyes?  Are we listening with His ears?  Are we serving with His hands and feet?  What do our words, attitudes and actions say about us as Christian Direct Selling Professionals?

The same applies in business.  If you sell cosmetics or jewelry, are you wearing them?   Is there something on your car to advertise as you drive?  (Be careful of your driving if you are.)  Are you effervescent and joy-filled as you talk about your business and products?  Do you have a sign in your yard?  Are you offering exemplary customer and host service?  How are you valuing your current and prospective business partners?  Are you the best walking billboard for your company?  Do you reflect the core values of the company?  How many people have you added value to as a result of your business today?

As Christian Direct Sellers, we are walking sermons for our faith and business.  How are you living your faith and Christian values out loud in business?  How do you share your passion and excitement?  How are you adding value to others?
